So, the panel…you can use in two different ways. The first way is to set the time and temperature. On most of them, the time and temperature go up in ten-minute increments.

The hot air is dissipated through vents in the back and to the side. The air is hot so you really need to set the machine up in a place where it has room to ‘breathe’.
Start/ Stop
If you want to check on the progress of cooked food, you can simply pull the basket out. They have an auto stop function so the unit will stop. However, not all models have a resume function so you may have to reset the temperature and time. The better ones just resume where they left off.
