As we all know, sausages are delicious\u2026that juicy, moist meat served with your favorite accompaniment\u2026simply delicious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are huge fans of sausage in my home, I like them but my\nhusband absolutely loves them. Whether they are part of a full English breakfast\nor just a snack on their own, the humble sausage is a fantastic. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air fryer sausages, not only are they delicious\u2026they are\nsimple to make too. Even a novice can get great results. Regardless if they are\nstandard sausages, the same method applies to air fryer Italian sausages as\nwell as air fryer sausage patties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"l1ph1urzxyxxie87v7eu\" data-sticky=\"1\" data-autoplay=\"1\" data-volume=\"10\" data-ratio=\"16:9\"><\/div>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"\/\/video.mediavine.com\/videos\/l1ph1urzxyxxie87v7eu.js\" async=\"\" data-noptimize=\"\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"why-sausage-in-airfryer-gives-the-best-results\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why sausage in air\nfryer gives the best results<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The standard way of cooking sausages is in a skillet\u2026it is\nthe traditional way that we have always faithfully followed. Is it the best\nway? Not in my opinion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are some benefits of course\u2026the smell is delicious and\nthe sizzle of the sausage can be beautiful to hear. However, there are some\ndrawbacks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cooking sausages in a skillet makes a mess but the biggest\nissue is the cook time. If you don\u2019t have a meat thermometer, you can never be\nsure that it is fully cooked. From a safety perspective, air fryer sausages are\nthe safer option. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That doesn\u2019t mean you have to lose any of the taste\u2026in fact I\nwould argue that cooking a cleaner air fried sausage actually delivers better\ntaste as you are not tasting the cooking oil. This gives a more authentic\ntaste. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have never tried air fryer sausage, you will not be\ndisappointed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"method-to-cook-air-fryer-sausage\" class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>Method to cook air fryer sausage<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"sausage-links-in-airfryer\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sausage links in air\nfryer <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Obviously, it goes without saying that there are lots of\nbrands of sausages and also locally produced sausages too. Regardless of where\nyou get them, they pretty much take the same time to cook. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may need to add a little time if they are bigger\nsausages and reduce the time in the air fryer if they are smaller. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another point to note is that they must <strong>NOT<\/strong> be frozen. You need to cook from defrosted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, lets get down to the cooking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background has-very-light-gray-background-color\"><strong>Sausages in air fryer\nmethod<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><strong>Preheat the air fryer at 360F<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Put sausages into the basket<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Cook for 12 &#8211; 15 minutes \u2013 turn them half way through<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Checked they are cooked through<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This method is pretty much fool proof. Obviously, all air\nfryers cook a little differently so keep an eye on them towards the end. You\nmay need to adjust the overall cooking time. Sausages are great\u2026burnt ones\u2026not\nso good. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Quick tip:<\/em><\/strong><em> If you want\ntastier air fryer sausages, do not prick them before you cook them. The first\nis your actual air fryer. Some air fryers cook quicker than others, so you may\nneed to reduce the overall cooking time. You should have a good idea how your\nair fryer performs based on other recipes you have followed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other aspect is the thickness of the sausage. Obviously,\nthe bigger the sausage, the longer it takes to cook. The average cooking time\nis between 12 \u2013 15 minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I always recommend that you use a meat thermometer to ensure\nyour sausages are fully cooked through. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"can-i-cook-italian-sausagein-air-fryer\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Can I cook Italian sausage\nin air fryer?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, it doesn\u2019t really matter what type of sausage it is\u2026Italian,\nGerman or English\u2026follow the same process as detailed above. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"how-do-i-cook-sausagelinks-in-air-fryer\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How do I cook sausage\nlinks in air fryer?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>They are cooked exactly the same way as detailed above. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"can-i-cook-smokedsausage-in-air-fryer\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Can I cook smoked\nsausage in air fryer?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, you should have no issues\u2026follow the method above.
